How was your VD? LOL!  But honestly I hope it was a happy holiday weekend, specially since I am sure many got off school or work for Presidents Day on Monday.  I had a fun weekend myself and I even had to work on Valentines day.  I had a lingerie photo shoot Sunday and created some great images working with a new photographer.  Some more awesome photos will be soon added to my lingerie gallery for your enjoyment, something to look forward to

I just finished adding a new gallery for my hair modeling work I have done.  Now to be clear, I am not a hair model in the common sense that I allow cut and coloring of my hair.  I am only a hair model for styling and design.  At the hair show, I had my hair professionally styled by Ted Gibson and promoted his hair products.  The other photos are done by another photographer, Eric Smith, who does hair styles - I guess you could call it a sculptural art.  He has done hair-does in the past for weddings and wanted to display his work on his website for ideas.  I let him practice and display his hair designs using my hair and we have plans to do more.  I love having my hair done, it is relaxing and luxurious.  I very much enjoy being pampered in that way, even though it may be work, it is enjoyable and how many people can say they love what they do for work

I also had some fun outside work over the weekend and went hiking with my dog.  I am not sure if you remember, but I got a puppy a while ago that was ‘driving me crazy’ lol.  Well, she is now almost two years old and she still has soo much energy its exhausting.  But she is fun and entertaining none-the-less.  So I took her on her first hike and it was quite entertaining, her nose never left the ground.  She has never been exposed to so many new scents.  It was a beautiful day as you can tell in the photo and wasn’t even cold at all.  I had my hoodie to keep warm, but never needed to put it on.  I kept her on the leash the whole time because I was worried she would run off too far or get stuck somewhere she could not climb back to me from.  I’m sure if she had found another animal she would have gotten too excited and ignored my commands.  She does listen well and is very well mannered, but this was a whole new situation and she is still pretty young.  I am looking forward to more hikes in the future with the coming spring weather.  One last note, I have to comment how cool it looks that the sun rays are shining down on us, and that was not only NOT taken by a photographer, but it was taken by my camera on my phone!  That is what you call a lucky shot and it looks amazing.  Again, I hope you had a great weekend and let me know what you think about my new gallery of my hair modeling

How many of you have gone to a Fetish Ball/Convention?

I found out about these events through a photographer I know and work with - speaking of which I got images from him and am working on posting them ;)  He told me about the events and I became intrigued.  I do fetish themed shoots with him so I was learning the culture through working with him.  I came to enjoy our photo shoots so much I wanted to go to an event and learn more, meet more people.

I just recently attended a local Fetish Ball and had a great time!  I dressed a bit on the subtle side because I wasn’t sure what to expect and it was too cold to wear what I wanted to lol.  I’m not a fan of the cold so I dress warm when I go out winter nights.  I wish the photo showed my red vinyl boots I wore, but you will see those in other pictures I will be posting The shows were very energetic and interesting. The vendors had some great stuff with which I have great desire to add to my wardrobe.  There was a chain mail skirt that I will be going back to the vendor for to match my chain mail bra - talk about a great costume!  I cannot wait to do  photo shoot with that stuff!

Now that I have gone and know what to expect, I will definitely have more fun with my costume next time!  I met some great people, turns out everybody is really open and friendly.  This was funny to me because some people looked very intimidating in their costumes, but they were kind and I was able to easily connect with them.  I think people are open and friendly because they are with others that share their interests.  Who would get dressed up in some crazy costume and go out only to be mean and cold to others who dress up like you?  I was even very open about it being my first time there and they were very supportive and reassuring that this was a fun place.

One of the biggest lessons the fetish photographer has taught me is that fetish is all about pleasure, not torture.  Fetish must be Sane, Sensual, and most importantly Consented.  Nobody is pushed or persuaded into doing something they are not comfortable with at these events.  If you want to be a silent observer you are welcome to just watch.  If you want to experience or tryout some new things you are guided and nurtured.  It is a great expereince and I recomend anybody interested or curious to go check it out and meet some fun people.

Lastly, I want to clarify I am a fashion model, not a fetish model.  I do fetish fashion, but I am not a fetish model.  A fetish model is on another level, a different form of modeling and I do not promote myself as fetish model, I am a fashion model.
