Renaissance Fair - NEW GALLERY!!

Hey I just posted my new gallery for all my Renaissance Fair stuff!  I kinda have a story line goin’ if you read the captions from the last page up to the first.  I had fun with it and I hope you all enjoy looking at them.  Maybe it will inspire some of you to want to go to the next one and if so that would be awesome.  The more the merrier, hehe.  I am sure it was enjoyable for the photographers too, they had so many people to take pitures of in character.  The buildings were pretty cool looking as well, making some of the pictures look even more characteristic of the time period.  So you will have to tell me what think of my costume.  What did you like? What didn’t you like?  What would you like to see me change?  Or if you are good and authentic about costuming, what do you notice about my pieces that make me not fit in to that time period?

I’m sure most of you already know, I love to play ‘dress up’.  Well a few years back I found the perfect place where I can where a costume outside of Halloween - the Ren Fair!  I have been attending the Renaissance Fair every year for about 3 or 4 years now.  In my opinion, my costumes get better every year.  When I find them I will post my old photos taken by my friends for the first couple years so you can see how my costumes have gotten better over time.  This costume stuff is expensive so I buy one piece every year.  I remember the first year I bought my leather corset and I have used it for many photoshoots I absolutely love it.  Actually, it is featured in another gallery on my website, do you know which gallery I am talking about?  I definately have no buyers remorse on that one!  One year I was so inspired I went to the fair twice that year so I could wear both my outfits.  I had the regular time period clothes, but I also had a belly dancer outfit put together.  Actually, I didn’t plan to make the two trips, but when I bought my chainmail bra during the first trip I felt a little buyer remorse on that one so I felt I had to use it.  I made my own coin chain belt and purchased a couple shawls online (cheap).  I was set and ready to make a great impression, I wanted to try joining the belly dancer performance group.  Unfortunately, I got into my car accident before the second trip so being in a foot cast did not exactly make me stand out in a good way.  So I did not get my ‘big break’ and ended up working for corporate America instead :-p.  The good news is I still did a photoshoot in all my belly dancer looks and will try to post those images with my new Renaissance photos, unless there are too many than they may end up in a separate gallery.  Anyway, this last visit I went I met up with some photographers to get some professional shots done in setting.  In the Renaissance Fair Gallery, you can get a glimpse of what the Fair is like if you have never been.  If you have not been I highly encourage you to go and experience it.  Not everybody dresses up so don’t worry about spending money like me :-)  If you have gone, look for me there next year - I know the place is big, but it will sure give you something to do in between shows, lol.

You have to express more your opinion to attract more readers, because just a video or plain text without any personal approach is not that valuable. But it is just form my point of view
