My dad is passing on his Chevrolet El Camino to me because he bought a new full ton Chevy truck. It was supposed to be my first car when I got my license, but the last mechanic that worked on it did more harm than good and now it may need a new engine. Unfortunately, it has been sitting for so long now that the wheels look like they are bending outward. If I hadn’t stopped him, my dad was going to trade in the El Camino but I begged him to keep it for me. I mean, how often do you see those older model cars now, a 1969 Chevy is a classic now and so much better then those Ford Rancheros :-p Sorry Ford lovers, I just don’t like the Ranchero, but don’t hate me for that.
So now, I need help restoring a 69 El Camino. Hehe, with 69 its gotta be fun! But really it is going to be lots of work. Rather than going to any regular mechanic and risking more damage to my classic, I am in the market for a mechanic that knows older cars, talk to me…………post comment if you know of an engine I can use or someone that has experience with classics…
